The experience is about a detective who stumbles into a basement and has to do what any detective does... find clues. The puzzles in the game require the player to find all the items in the scene and plug them into the lamps. Once a lamp is turned on a beam will shine and a note will appear. A clue. Once all the lamps are on you progress through the game and open the door with the clues you have found. This game targets the VR community and in particular lovers of the horror genre. It's a quick experience as well so anyone that wants to see if they can handle a game of the horror genre in VR should try it. I programmed the audio to play randomly throughout the room as well as the silhouettes flickering in the room. I also programmed the puzzles the player must figure out. The silhouettes also have mocap I implemented done by a peer of mine which can be seen on the flickering prefabs in the room and in the final room at the end of the game. I learned a great deal about level design. Mainly the management of it all. Not everything is going to go right so troubleshooting and work arounds are needed especially in a time crunch. In the future I'd like to clean up to the audio and add more interactables for the player so they can really be immersed.
